Today must be a pretty special day `cause Mom made me a cake!! it`s chocolate and vanilla swirl!!....my favorite!
Cousins Maxie, Emma and Brayden came down for a visit this week and my Mom and Dad had all sorts of things we could go see and do but........nope.......we just stayed home and hopped in the pool!.........cool!!
The sunny weather has brought out Mom`s garden treats, sunflowers, strawberries and PEAS!.......I love peas! you just open up the sides and eat them up, I could just swing around all day eating my peas!!
I figured I would just kick back and relax in the sunshine with my Dad today, but........Mom had other ideas!....... "You boys get over there and wash my car!".....turns out it was pretty fun, especially when I got to spray her with the hose!! ha-ha!
Well it has been nothing but sunny and hot here in Kelowna this week and my Dad finally......finally........ got the pool going!........Hooray! let`s get wet! ..........Dad! go get my water toys!!
Turns out it`s holiday time again and we went back to Castlegar for the long weekend and I got to go camping!!
My Mommy and I took my Dad fishing to Rose Valley lake for Fathers day, we had soooo much fun playing and fishing down at the water!! Turns out that Dad was able to 'reel' in a nice one so there will be no stories about the one that "got away" today and we have fresh trout for the BBQ tonight!!.....Happy Father`s Day everybody!
Ethan seems to like wearing my work boots around the house......hmmm, there`s the old saying about "pretty big shoes to fill" ........and it looks like he`s just about there.....so....well, maybe on Monday I can just send in Ethan as my replacement to work and take the day off!!
Just a quick update on Ethan and the scene over here......lots of outside playtime, cruisin` in my red wagon, chasing the birds, the cat, the neighbors dogs and anything else I can chase, playing with bugs, worms and anything else my Mom doesn`t want me to, throwing balls, rocks and anything else my Mom doesn`t want me too............seems like a regular little boy to me!
It`s not even June yet and my days are filled with outside playing, swimming, biking, running, golf, swings, fishing, BBQ`s, water parks and just plain ol` lounging around!........Man! this is going to be a great summer!!
It`s Mother`s Day today and it is kinda wet and yucky outside so I thought I might brighten up my Mommy`s day with some nice sunny outside pics from a couple of days ago......
My buddy Brayden came down for a visit and it turns out that he likes to hang out in my toy box too! ..........in fact he likes all of the things I do......hmmm, this might be kinda fun, lets see.....bubbles, cartoons, books and blocks, cars and trucks, chocolate cake(well, if Aunty would give him some, I know he would like it), milk, playing, swings, ......yup, this guy is defiantly going to be fun!!
We took a day trip down to Keremeos to visit with Grannie Reimer and Great-Grannie Erickson. We had a good little visit with Great-Grannie at her place and then took Grannie to Aunty Tracie`s cafe for lunch!........yum-yum!..........hot-dog for me please!!
Mom said Ethan looks pretty cool in this picture but I`m not too sure if the see-sa(soother) is helping.....maybe in the 'two year old' circles, it`s a must have accessory..... like an I-pod for toddlers or something????.......whatever Dad, just go with it!
Ethan took a quick trip over to Castlegar this weekend and got to see some of the cousins out there. We took a walk from Brayden`s place and stopped in on Uncle Argon and Emma on the way over to the Lloyd cousins for a BBQ! We found this little car for him ride in and he quickly learned how to honk the horn..."Hurry it up, Dad!"
Today was my buddy Ashton`s 2nd birthday and I got invited to his party!! There were balloons, presents and would you believe, CHOCOLATE CAKE!! We had a blast with his new outside toys, the inside toys,.....and the outside toys again....then back in for inside toys......well, you get the idea. I can`t wait until it`s my birthday...hope to see you all there!

Ethan is sure turning into a real little man these last few months, new words, new likes and dislikes and, oh, just a little bit of attitude to go along with his budding personality,......his Mom says it must be a trait from his Dad`s side of the family but, well, I`m writing this blog so I will just have to disagree, sorry Mom!
I got to have a quick visit with Grandma and Grandpa Reimer, uncle Brad and Peter down at Andrea`s place on their way back from Vancouver. Later on in the afternoon my Dad and I went to the mall and checked out the scene with Brad,......pretty cool!!
Pretty cool fun for me as Aunty Tamara and Uncle Sandro brought Brayden out to play with me over the easter weekend. We did lots of playing....and pulling!
Emma and Maxie were here for Easter and we had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard! It was more of a Mr. Nutty and Simpson`s chocolate hunt but 'whatever' it was a ton of fun with or with-out the eggs!!
So it was a sunny, warm, beautiful day today and Dad said "let`s go outside!"......Yeaaa!! I was so excited to go and get out the slide, the trucks, the outside balls and rackets...........turns out my Dad only gave me a rake! Stupid rake, stupid leaves.........didn`t we just rake the yard in the fall?......(mutter, mutter...shovelling snow, raking leaves, picking up garbage,......... all work and no play makes...........)
Well, we all know that Ethan`s Mom is a very good nurse.......but........turns out she wanted to try her hand at hairdressing.

Grandpa Reimer and Aunty Andrea came out for a visit last night and I had a great time showing them all of my stuff! Ethan wouldn`t even stay still long enough for a picture...pretty exciting!!
My Dad and I got to play inside today as it is still pretty cold outside. I took him around and showed him how good I am getting at coloring with my crayons............(of course Ethan is happy to show off his work on the walls, curtains, windows and even my shirt!)
BRRRRRRR, its freezing. Literally. I was out playing in the snow that fell yesterday and the temperature was sitting at -15 degrees. Baba and deda sure are missing out on a lot this past week. Snowmen, shovelling, and taboganning on ice, what could be better? I guess, one day, I will realize that being in Cancun building sandcastles and body surfing might just be a little more enjoyable. Maybe baba and deda will take me with them next year so I don't have to freeze my little patooty off out here.....I hope at least I get something good for them leaving me behind!

I saw this picture and thought "there is one serious looking little boy!" I`m not sure what he was thinking about at the time but apparently it wasn`t 'play time with Dad'......good thing I didn`t ask him!
Ethan`s Baba and Deda Rezansoff were here for a visit and after breakfast we decided to go into town. Ethan was getting a few tips from Deda on getting all spiffed up, he put on some nice clothes, brushed his teeth, washed his hands and face, and got his hair combed! Pretty syling little guy!
Well it has certainly been snowing alot here lately and all I can say is "I`m sure glad Ethan is here to help me shovel!" Every day we get up, have some porridge, strap on the boots and gloves and head on out to shovel the driveway, of course I don`t quite share Ethan`s enthusiasm for the work........then again that`s me working away in the background while Ethan poses for pictures with Mom!
